Australian International, Jackson Irvine, is close to a return to Scotland with Hibernian The Ex-Celtic man has been a free agent since his Hull City release back in the summer, Jack Ross hopes to seal a move for the midfielder with the Aussie expected to attend a medical with the Easter Road side. The 27-year-old came through the ranks at Celtic, but spent most his time on loan at Kilmarnock and Ross County. If the move goes through it will see Irvine link up with National Team, Teammate Martin Boyle.

This move would no doubt boost Hibs as they fight for second place alongside Aberdeen and Celtic. Currently they have already signed Matt Macey from Arsenal and look likely to sign Ex-Steelman, Chris Cadden following his Colombus Crew release. The Scotland Internationalist is keen on a move home due to a lack of gametime in the states.
