Ronald Hernandez Set For MLS

Aberdeen Wing Back, Ronald Hernandez, is set to sign for Atlanta United.

The Venezuelan is set to sign for the MLS side sometime in the second week of January, with Ronald reportedly looking likely to pen a 4 year contract in Georgia according to some Venezuelan sources

Hernandez was signed by Aberdeen on deadline day January 2020 for a reported fee of around 800K, which the Dons are confident they will recoup. Around the same time Hernandez was signed, Aberdeen entered a Strategic and Financial partnership with Atlanta with Darren Eales joining the Pittodrie board.

Ronald is currently with his family in Venezuela with his family having not seen them in 9 months due to the COVD-19 pandemic.

The Venezuela international has only played 6 times for Aberdeen failing to make any impact. With the right back having not started since August 20 in a 1-0 win over St Johnstone.
