An Unnamed Celtic Player has tested Positive for COVID 19 following the current champions mid season trip to Dubai.
Throughout the week Celtic faced criticism for travelling to Dubai while back home in scotland , the entirety of the population have been put into a lockdown similarly to the one last march . Pictures have circulated across social media of the Celtic players by the pool which has somewhat painted a bad picture.
First Minister Nicola Sturgeon Recently came out and asked the SFA to investigate Celtics trip to Dubai. however since then the SFA have came out and said there will not be an investigation in the trip
Speaking Ahead of The champions match on Monday against Hibs, Assistant manager John Kennedy Defended the trip by saying "As much as we possibly can, we speak to the players in terms of the protocols they must adhere to, because everyone wants football to continue, we want to abide by all the rules.'
It is unclear if there will be any action taken by the SFA or the government following the positive test however one thing is for sure is that Celtic will need provide evidence they adhered to every single procedure in place otherwise there could be serious action took against Celtic and potentially Scottish Football.
