Todays first half was largely dominated by Arbroath, with the odd Morton counterattack, although either team didn't come onto any big chances, which is down to both teams defensive stability. One man who has impressed me is Morton centre back, Markus Fjortoft. The Ex-Accies man has won most headers and 5050s.

Arbroath right back Jason Thomson was subbed due to a clash of heads with a Morton player, he was replaced by midfielder Miko Virtanen who has already shown what an impact he can do with some great passes and defending.

Things were much different at the start of the second half with Morton testing Derek Gaston time after time. Eventually they were awarded a free kick right outside the box after a Thomas O'Brien , in which he was booked for, Colville then steps us and smashes it off the bar and the eventual rebound was calmly caught by Gaston. Other than few chances from Bobby Linn (Arbroath). They're wasn't much else and eventually the game ended 0-0. Overall an exciting game with no end product.
